Royal Order of the Two Sicilies, founded in 1808, knight's badge of the 2nd type, five-pointed star in red enamelled gold, surmounted by an imperial eagle topped by a partially articulated crown, the centres in three parts present, on a streaked silver background, heraldic figures in gold: on the obverse the horse of Naples girded with the legend on a blue background "PRO RENOVATA PATRIA", on the reverse the ancient Trinacria surrounded by the name of the founder "JOS. NAPOL. SIC. REX INSTITUIT" (small chip at the lower point and at the legend of the reverse, hair), large smooth ring with traces of punches, discoloured ribbon. 59 x 38,5 mm, gross weight : 20 g Naples, First Empire.
