A hinged pewter diptych for private devotion; the first panel bears the monogram "IM" within a chalice framed by a laurel wreath, with the interior depicting Saint Peter and the Latin inscription "Fluit Unda meis an Mirum ex oculis fit"; the second panel depicting Christ crucified on a vine stalk with the inscription "Quid est quod debui ultra facere vinae ete etnon feci", (wear, scratches, minor chips, upper element missing) Probably 19th century. Length when open: 26 cm.
