CHINA Porcelain ovoid tea caddy decorated in blue underglaze with a Chinese woman and child in a landscape bordered by pierced rock. Marked with leaf. Kangxi period (1661-1722), circa 1700. H. 11 cm. Silver-plated stopper engraved with Tea. Bibliography : S. Pierson, From Object to Concept: Global Consumption and the Transformation of Ming Porcelain, Hong Kong 2013.
