ENSEMBLE comprising five small boxes including two cases and a round box in tortoiseshell (Cheloniidae spp*) and a burgau-inlaid horn snuffbox, as well as three wood marquetry boxes including a jewelry box and a watch holder. 19th century. Cracks, chips and accidents. *Specimen classified in Appendix I, Appendix A of the Washington Convention, pre-convention. Specimen predates June 1, 1947 and complies with European Community Regulation 338/97 of 09/12/1996 art 2 W mc, as well as the French Environment Code. If leaving the EU, a CITES re-export permit is required.
