Bordeaux Large covered baluster-shaped earthenware theriac vase with two snake-shaped handles, decorated in blue monochrome on one side with the inscription THERICA in a banner held by two lovers and surmounting the emblem of the Franciscans, and on the other side with the inscription Zeli et Cura R. Adm. P. GalaFij Mouttêt Exprouincatis in a cartouche surmounted by a putto's face in a surround of sphinxes, birds, draperies, smoking cups and foliage. 18th century. H. 80 cm. L. 45 cm. A few chips to the lid and base.
