CHINA Pair of large seated greyhounds in porcelain, the coat in iron red, the gold-ground bell held by a green-ground collar. 18th century, Qianlong period (1735-1796). Restoration to ears and muzzle. H. 26 cm. 727. A fine and large pair of Chinese export hounds seated on their hind legs decorated in iron-red, the collar and tassels in green opaque enamels from the famille rose (fencai) palette, c.1760, Qianlong reign, Qing dynasty, h. 26 cm, 10¼ in. 7-15338 (ears and nose restored)(4733).
