Porcelain statuette depicting a charlatan from the Cree de Londres series, wearing orange pants and vest and a yellow cape held by a chain, a sword on his side and wearing a black hat, accompanied by a monkey, an open box containing flasks between his legs and an open book, on a terrace with rocaille ornaments in light relief underlined by gold.

This statuette is modeled after an engraving "Mounta Banck, Le Charlatan, Il charlatano" by Pierce Tempest after Marcellus Laroon the Elder, from the "Cryes of the City of London" series published in 1688. A similar model is illustrated by
