Sèvres - Lot 267
Sèvres Third-size hard porcelain litron beaker and saucer decorated in purple on a mauve ground with laurel wreaths and ribbons and foliage frieze, the rims decorated with palmettes, rosettes and foliage in white background braids. Marked: Sevres. - //- for Year 11 of the Republic (September 22, 1802 - September 22, 1803). Consulate period, year 11, 1802-1803. H. 5.9 cm, D. 12.7 cm. The Sèvres Manufacture archives hold a preparatory drawing for this decoration (2011.3.1240).
