Lacroix, 215 /// I. 302 / II. 455-(4f.). First edition with 10 copper-engraved plates hors texte, unsigned, but some attributable to Louis Binet. In the fifth figure of Volume I, the father of the family is portrayed as Restif himself. The work is in fact divided into 3 parts, Volume I forming the first part and Volume II consisting of two parts, the second of which begins on page 217 with a title leaf included in the pagination. A fine copy in contemporary binding. The only damage is a hole in one leaf with the loss of 4 letters (I, p. 221).
