Vicaire, I-31 /// I. (5f.)-(100f.)-(2f.) / II. (6f.)-(102f.)-(2f.). 101 black lithographs by Honoré Daumier with captions by Philippon. These plates are reductions of lithographs published by Daumier between 1836 and 1838. They are accompanied by texts by Maurice Alhoy and Louis Huart. A copy with some discrepancies in the introductory leaves with Vicaire's description. According to this bibliography, the title of Volume I is missing, but we have an additional table leaf. Bound by Hérard, a bookbinder from Metz who escaped Fléty. Numerous brown spots.
