Carteret, I-110 / Lh., 55 / Vicaire, I-305 /// (1f.)-VIII-(1)-8 to 354-(1f.). Rare first edition, the edition having been partly withdrawn from sale by the author and destroyed, despite the dismissal of the lawsuit against him for contempt of public morals and decency. First-issue copy with misprints on pages 15, 25, 124, 186 and 311. Spine faded. Angular brown stain on 2 leaves.
