Érastène RAMIRO and Louis LEGRAND. Faune parisienne. Paris, Gustave Pellet, 1901. In-4, lemon morocco, outer band of boards adorned with geometric decoration formed by two vertical bold brown fillets with two gilded rectangles at the foot and one gilded fillet and two horizontal palladium rectangles at the head, inverted decoration on the second board, 5-rib spine, wide inner frame in the same morocco with multiple bold and light brown fillets, yellow silk lining and endpapers, double endpapers, gilded edges on witnesses, cover and spine, case (A. et J. Langrand-1929).

Edition with 20 original etchings by Louis Legrand, most in color, including the cover, 13 hors-texte and 6 in the text. Numerous woodcuts in the text by G. Lemoine after Legrand.
Edition of 130 copies, this one (no. 57) with a complete black suite of etchings, plus an additional suite of 9 plates, including 3 in two states (12 plates).
A fine copy, despite the browned and slightly rubbed spine.
